Posts: 59 Group: \|NG²\| Members Member #4 Joined: May 30, 2009	8.3.6.42:27015 My friends <{BBA}>(EARS)~ decided to go ahead and start up a single TF2 server as sort of a "thankz" for me helping him manage and run four L4D servers. Its only 16slot but 8v8 is IMO a good number for more serious teamwork (maybe we could do PUGS) I will be an admin on the server (RCON and FTP access) as will Ears. If you are willing to throw a couple of bux towards the server cost you can get a reserved slot and I'll set up source mod to let you kick people. He isn't obsessed with the server being full or empty, just wants to make sure that when people DO play on it we keep the assholes out and the fun flowing. Many of you have played L4D with Ears before (I know Sephith,Grave,[1],Chips,Jay, and Bill have for sure) so you know he is a pretty cool guy. ------- PS I'm going to go to bed now but I will be researching how to setup server configs and such, I know how to put source mod on and manage it but I've never done TF2 server management yet send me a msg on steam if you got a suggestion for a site to visit or tips on how to setup everything on the server correctly (it is currently up and running and playable but no RTV or map rotation atm) Edited by Eternal, Sep 3 2009, 04:57 AM.
